Jensen called his pick for lieutenant governor, Phouthaivanh Wilkerson, the "living embodiment of Minnesota's founding spirit" in his announcement Monday morning.

Jensen announced on Monday that he picked lieutenant governor candidate Phouthaivanh Wilkerson to run with him for the Republican Party’s endorsement.

Republican candidates in the primary include Scott Jensen, a former state senator who won the Republican primary in 2022 but lost to Mr. Walz by about eight points; and Mike Lindell, the chief executive of MyPillow and one of the country’s most prolific spreaders of election disinformation.
