Directed by Jonathan Eusebio, with a screenplay written by Matthew Murray, Josh Stoddard and Luke Passmore, Love Hurts stars Quan as a former hit man named Marvin Gable, who’s launched a new career for himself as a successful realtor. But as any former hitman in any movie ever can tell you, the past never stays in the past.

"Love Hurts," in theaters Friday, proves disappointing with superficial gimmicks and more characters than its 83 minutes can support.

Love Hurts' fails on practically every level, mostly because the movie has absolutely no idea what it’s trying to be.
