Tracee Mergen, whose FBI squad was involved in the Renee Good investigation and probes into public benefits fraud in Minnesota, resigned last week, sources said.
The FBI agent who initially began working with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to investigate the fatal ICE shooting of Renee Good has resigned from the bureau, two sources familiar with the matter told CNN.
The reward seeks to obtain an arrest and conviction for those responsible for the 8-year-old Navajo Nation girl's death, the FBI said.
