The final day of testimony in the Camp Mystic flood tragedy turned emotional and, at times, explosive Wednesday, as witnesses described a chaotic night of rising water, desperate rescues—and mounting questions about whether the camp failed to act in time.

At least 27 campers and counselors from the all-girls summer camp were killed when deadly flash floods ripped through the area on July 4, 2025.
