At least nine people were killed and more than a dozen others injured after a UPS plane crashed shortly after takeoff near the Louisville International Airport on Tuesday, officials said.  The death toll rose on Wednesday morning,

The Louisville airport in Kentucky said on Tuesday an aircraft was involved in an incident and that the airfield has been closed, after local media reported that a cargo plane had crashed.

“Obviously, everybody can see how big this site actually is,” Meiman said.
