Country singer Spencer Hatcher is mourning the death of his mom Holly Hatcher, who was killed after an intruder entered her home Aug. 3.

The singer’s mother, Holly Hatcher, 62, was stabbed to death during what is being considered a random home invasion just before midnight on Aug. 3, Rockingham County Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson said. The suspect was later identified as Kevin Moses Walker, 41, of Pikesville, Maryland.
