Thousands of Black Sabbath fans will pay their respects Wednesday to Black Sabbath front man Ozzy Osbourne as his hearse makes its way through the streets of Birmingham, the city in central England where he grew up and where the band was formed in 1968.

Fans and relatives of the late Ozzy Osbourne converged to pay their final respects to metal star in his home city.

Sharon and Kelly Osbourne — who starred alongside Ozzy in the family's genre-defining reality show — were in tears as they lay flowers at the Black Sabbath Bridge in Birmingham, England.
