The Vessel, Manhattan's popular honeycomb-shaped pedestrian tower, is reopening with new safety nets after it was closed in 2021 due to a string of suicides. WNBC's Chris Glorioso reports.

Jury selection in the criminal trial of Daniel Penny, who placed Jordan Neely in a deadly chokehold aboard a New York City train last year, began on Monday.

Penny, is accused of "recklessly causing the death" of Jordan Neely, a street performer, on a train on May 1, 2023.

The New York Liberty's first WNBA championship will be celebrated in style with a ticker-tape parade up the Canyon of Heroes.

The parade will start at 10 a.m. Thursday in Battery Park and make its way down the Canyon of Heroes, the same route traveled by previous sports champions in the New York area. It will end at City Hall,
