An argument over personal belongings led a Minneapolis woman to start a fire in an apartment hallway last summer that eventually engulfed the building and left two people dead, according to charges filed in Hennepin County District Court on Monday.

Prosecutors in Hennepin County on Monday charged 35-year-old Deonna Marie Presbury, of Minneapolis, with two counts of 2nd-degree murder and three counts of 1st-degree arson in connection with the Aug. 13 fire at 1501 11th Avenue South.

Court documents say witnesses reported that she was engaged an argument in the hallway were one of the fires started and was allegedly heard threatening to start a fire.
