2026 Grammy Award nominations announced
Digest more
Rosé, Huntr/x and Katseye have roots in K-pop and major-category nominations. The Academy has embraced the genre as a staple part of pop music.
Katseye have only existed for two years, but they have already achieved more than some groups that have been around for much longer.
Huntr/x's "Golden" from the Netflix animated movie received a bid for songwriters Ejae and Mark Sonnenblick. Huntr/x (comprising Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami) may have started out as a fictional girl group, but it's definitely real now as they have performed together on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Saturday Night Live.
Following its chart-topping film and music success earlier this year, "KPop Demon Hunters" earned nominations for its hit song "Golden" in the song of the year and best pop duo/group performance categories. The song is performed by artists EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the singing voices behind the film's fictional K-pop group, HUNTR/X.
The upcoming 2026 Grammy Awards will be held on February 1, 2026, and the fans of KATSEYE and Rosé are already celebrating.
The Grammy noms had plenty of surprises, with Justin Bieber's 'Swag' picking up multiple nods and Alex Warren shut out of almost all categories.
