Despite hosting former President Donald Trump for a shift, McDonald's does not support his claims that Vice President Kamala Harris is lying about her stint working at a California McDonald's in the summer of 1983, The Washington Post reported.

Harris has recalled working at a McDonald's that her campaign has identified as the location on Central Avenue in Alameda, Calif., 41 years ago, in the summer of 1983 when she would have been a rising sophomore at Howard University.

In a message to employees obtained by The Washington Post, the fast-food giant made clear that it isn’t saying what Trump says it’s saying.
