Justin Thomas has held the Waialae Country Club record alone since the 2017 edition, when he also won the event. His remarkable score came in the first round when he carded two eagles, eight birdies and one bogey. This score is also one of the most remarkable in PGA Tour history (tied with 13 other players), behind only Jim Furyk's 58 in 2016.

The 16th victory may  be one of the sweetest for Justin Thomas, who returned to the winner's circle Sunday for the first time in nearly three years by claiming the 2025 RBC Heritage in a one-hole playoff.
