After nearly 30 years, Adam Sandler has finally returned to the golf course to reprise his iconic role as Happy Gilmore. Happy Gilmore 2 was released on Netflix on July 25, 29 years after the original film hit cinemas.

When asked about whether there had been discussions about making Happy Gilmore 3, director Kyle Newacheck wasn’t very enthusiastic. “I don’t know,” Newacheck told The Direct, when asked in an interview he had ideas for a third film.
