Annie Sillimon’s attorney, John Lentine, said the judge heard testimony Thursday that Sillimon fatally shot the victim after he assaulted her in her home.

The 45-year-old was charged with second-degree murder and concealment of a human corpse and arraigned Monday in Ticonderoga Town Court. A recorded message on the court’s phone line says his case has since moved to a grand jury. He had been scheduled to appear at 1 p.m. in town court, which has since been canceled.

HOULTON, Maine — The Aroostook County grand jury handed up 29 indictments for July. Aroostook County District Attorney Todd Collins released the indictments on July 24. An indictment is not a finding of guilt, but an indication that there is enough evidence in a case to move forward with a trial.

Luciano Frattolin was scheduled to appear in Ticonderoga Town Court Friday afternoon, in front of a judge. However, his case has now been moved to a grand jury, as state police continue to search for clues.

A statewide grand jury indicted 11 people for a range of alleged drug distribution-related crimes that the Colorado Attorney General's Office says occurred between August last year and May this year.
