Controversy surrounding a neo-Nazi demonstration in Lincoln Heights and Evendale continues as the Lincoln Heights community says they were never consulted on the decision to hire a consulting firm to investigate the village's response.

The list of demands includes a full investigation into law enforcement's response to the demonstration. Leaders want the Evendale Police Department to release unedited body camera footage of the entire day. They are also demanding the dismissal of any officers investigators find aided the neo-Nazi group.

An independent firm, 21st Century Policing, is investigating the Evendale police response to a neo-Nazi demonstration, a process taking 90 days and costing nearly $70,000.

Meanwhile, some Lincoln Heights officials and residents are calling for a boycott of Evendale businesses over questions about that police response and subsequent actions.

After a white supremacist demonstration earlier this month on the border of Lincoln Heights and Evendale, residents are still demanding answers to the police response.

The 16 hours of footage shows Evendale officers and Hamilton County Sheriff deputies pull up to the scene where roughly a dozen members of the hate group were waving swastika flags and brandishing assault rifles.

The neo-Nazis ask the police to retrieve a service dog left near the overpass, and one man asks to retrieve his vehicle, described as a black Jeep.
