There will be a drop-off place in Mercer County for people who wish to take part in National Prescription DEA Drug Take Back Day. According to a press release, Community Connections will be working with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office to participate in National DEA Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

Ohioans who have unused or expired prescription pills that they need to dispose of are encouraged to drop them off at a collection site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is on Saturday. Each year, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) holds Prescription Drug Take Back Day to encourage the removal of unneeded medications from people's homes as a way to prevent medication misuse and opioid addiction.
