The votes come in the wake of a viral street brawl about two weeks earlier that have raised concerns about crime in Cincinnati.

The city's longstanding curfew for unsupervised minors is now 11 p.m., and City Council established a new curfew district downtown that begins at 9 p.m. Five Cincinnati Parks will also close earlier.

City leaders spent two-and-a-half hours discussing safety issues during Tuesday's meeting, focusing primarily on issues linked to teenagers and pre-teens.
