FARGO — Former North Dakota State standout basketball player Grant Nelson will not be re-signed by the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, according to sources. Nelson signed a 10-day contract with the Nets on Feb. 27 after being called up from the G-League’s Long Island Nets.

During his time suiting up for the Nets, Hassell wore only jersey No. 44 and put up 3.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
