A major airline has updated its contract of carriage, specifying that tattoos and certain types of clothing which could be considered offensive might get you bumped from the flight. On Jan. 22, Spirit Airlines posted an amended carriage contract to its website which includes a notable revised

The budget airline updated its contract agreement with customers to prohibit inadequate clothing, bare feet and offensive attire or tattoos.

Spirit Airline passengers can be turned away for offensive clothing, not adequately covered or for "an offensive body odor."

Is barefoot or inappropriately dressed. According to the contract, this includes see-through clothing; not adequately covered. "With breasts, buttocks or other private parts exposed or whose clothing or item, including body art, is lewd, obscene or offensive in nature."

The airline clarified (somewhat) the attire and appearance that might prevent passengers from being allowed to board or remain on a plane, a move that goes a step further than other major U.S. airlines.
