Finally, Apple will launch a new, pro-oriented camera app for photos and videos, which would be on the level of camera apps such as Halide, Kino, and Filmic Pro. This app could either come as a new, standalone app, or an upgrade to the existing Final Cut Camera app.

With less than two months to go until Apple unveils its iPhones for fall 2025, new details have emerged concerning the new handsets. According to an anonymous tip-off, the Pro versions of the iPhone 17 will get a range of surprising and unexpected camera upgrades.

The new app would take on the likes of Halide and Filmic Pro, available on the App Store. The tipster says that this app may arrive as an update to the Final Cut Camera app that Apple already makes, though presumably it would come preinstalled.
