Directed by Alex Proyas, “I, Robot” is about a Chicago police detective (Smith) who investigates the alleged suicide of a robotics company founder and becomes convinced that one of the robots, Sonny (Tudyk), murdered him.

The "I, Robot" actor said that he was cut from all promo for the movie because he was "testing higher" than costar Will Smith in early screenings.

Actor Alan Tudyk revealed he was excluded from the marketing of 'I, Robot' after test audiences preferred his character, Sonny, over Will Smith's lead role. Despite his strong performance, Tudyk felt upset about the lack of recognition.
