The White House has sent its long-awaited spending cuts request to Congress as it seeks to formalize a slew of DOGE slashes to federal funding.

The new blueprint shows that a vast array of education, health, housing and labor programs would be hit, including aid for college and cancer research.

The White House asked Congress to slash $9.4 billion in foreign aid and public broadcasting funding, marking its first attempt to cement the spending cuts pursued by the Department of Government Efficiency.
